ROBLOX have released a little bit of information on the new Egg Hunt 2012. Apparently, there won't be an egg drop this year, but instead, an egg hunt. RoGo will be following you guys when collecting each egg. Read about the eggs and how you get them here.
The Exploit of April Fools, 2012 Follow-Up
Today Roblox finally did something about the 900 Million Robux put into circulation. Instead of issuing a site-wide roll back, they only rolled back the accounts who were in possession of the Robux and anything else related to the "counterfeit" Robux, such as hats that may have been obtained. According to the Roblox Blog, "A small number (less than 0.01%) of ROBLOX accounts had some transactions rolled back." One of these less than 0.01% of Roblox accounts just happened to be me, because as I stated before, someone purchased my Red Grind with some Robux obtained during the exploiting. I now have my original Red Grind, along with my previous number of Robux before the transaction.
The Admins have decided not to remove all of the hats accidentally released, because some of them were plan for release in the very near future. They did, however, remove some hats which were not quite ready to be released and some that were never meant to be released.
The Roblox Admins have also staFirst of all, according to the Roblox user Leeav, he was "100% responsible for the attacks yesterday." I'm not sure if I fully believe it, but according to him, he has had access to an administrative account for a long time. He claims that a user, (NOT Pheedy, Minish, Dignity, or anyone else the rumors state) took the access of the account from him, and then abused the Administrative Tools to create all the chaos we saw yesterday. Like I said, I have no idea if this is true or not, but it has some interesting points.
Some more proof that this was indeed not an April Fools prank was that some administrative accounts, such as ReeseMcBlox, were taken over and started posting profanity on the Roblox Forum. I can't post this image as it is very disturbing, but I can confirm that it did indeed happen. As of what ReeseMcBlox said, "An old post of mine was edited, that's all. Check the post date if you still have access to the screenshot." Sure enough, it was true.
ted that they have worked on ways to improve security and response time, should in a situation like this ever happen again. They released no information on how it happened, but we can assume someone managed to seize an Administrator Account and abuse Administrative Tools.
All I can say is that we should applaud the admins for all their hard work in the past few days and how they handled it. The only thing I think that they could have done differently was giving the users more information during the point when they were fixing everything. So applaud them, everyone. They did a great job.

The Exploit of April Fools, 2012
As most of you know, Roblox has been having some issues lately. More specifically, April Fools Day. I know most of you have some speculations about what happened, but you can read the official article about the incident here. I will try my best to describe what happened in full detail with evidence gained from the Roblox Forum, the Roblox Blog, and Twitter.

On 4/1/12, some random hats began to be created. Not just any random hats, but very rare ones. Most were either going to be released soon, or were discontinued. Such as the 2012 new years hat that was released. Some Limited U, only being able to sell 3 or less, like this peculiar hat. You may notice that it says "Item purchases are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." This is because, according to the Roblox Blog, "a virtual-economy failsafe has kicked in, and for some time this morning all catalog purchases and currency trading will be turned off" The reason being that the exploiters, hackers, password guessers, or whatever they were, generated over 900 Million Robux into circulation.

I have lost my Red Grind to generated Robux during this attack. I currently have 1,348,215 R$. Yet I can't buy any good hats because Robux is so common. It's almost worthless. Let's hope for a fix.

APRIL FOOLS!
To make this clear, RoGo is not turning into a computer company. It will remain a magazine company. NOTHING will be switched at all. The Presidents of RoGo wanted to have a little fun with the fans, and April Fools was the best way to get it.
As some of you know, we had a poll on the website yesterday about switching to a computer company. To be exact on the amount of votes, we had 115 people with the answer of "no" and 37 people with the answer of "yes". We changed the results, so 136 people said "yes" and 37 people said "no".
After we released the results, we needed to make it believable. We wrote about the switch here and changed the logo of the group.
When we made the shout, we were quite amazed how many people were yelling on the group wall. It shows how many loyal fans we have.
And now, I will end this message with a picture of a dancing Troll, since, you guys got trolled.
